Georgeane Tacelli Coleman RYT 500 has been teaching yoga to adults and children for several years in studios, gyms, schools and retreats.  She is currently enrolled in a therapeutic yoga training program and offers yoga as a tool for emotional healing to individual and group populations.

She is certified through both YogaWorks and YogaFit Training Systems and recently completed a certification in therapeutic yoga for trauma and emotional healing.  She is also certified in Focusing, a body-oriented process that teaches self-awareness and emotional healing.  She also completed an intensive training led by Brigham and Women's Hospital and Reebok where she brought fitness classes to breast cancer survivors through its first-ever pilot program.

After trying her first Kundalini yoga class 15 years ago, Georgeane was enamored with the practice and began to explore various disciplines and styles of yoga.  Like many others, she was soon hooked on yoga.

In 2003, when her sisters founded Retreat Sorelle LLC as a way of bringing women together in meaningful connection, Georgeane knew that her contribution to its programming was yoga.  Retreat Sorelle (retreat of the sisters) originated from a belief and trust in women’s wisdom and spirit.  As a facilitator, Georgeane offers yoga as a method of enrichment and joy.  It is through yoga she believes, that we are able to access an inner power that is liberating and abundant.

Georgeane’s skillful instruction and holistic approach exhibits a deep understanding and respect for the physical and mental bodies.  She delights in day to day differences on all levels and brings an enthusiastic spirit to her classes.

Georgeane believes that yoga brings opportunity for self discovery and growth and is a powerful pathway (modality) in cultivating inner wisdom and accessing personal power.

Georgeane is an appointed member of the Town of Winthrop’s Wellness Committee and works with local officials, schools, students and parents to promote awareness of health related issues impacting students and families.  She is also a self-appointed green ambassador, working with local public and private schools to encourage greener thinking and practices.

Georgeane holds a BS in Communications from Suffolk University.

She is married to Michael Coleman and they reside in the seaside town of Winthrop, MA where they are raising their two teenage sons.
