Georgeane Tacelli Coleman has been teaching yoga to adults and children for several years in studios, gyms, schools and retreats. She is a level three trained yoga instructor, certified through YogaFit Training Systems. In 2008 she completed 200 hours of teacher training under YogaWorks’ master trainer, Natasha Rizopoulos.
In 2007, Georgeane became certified in Focusing, a body-oriented process that teaches self-awareness and emotional healing. She also completed an intensive training led by Brigham and Women's Hospital and Reebok for breast cancer survivors and provided fitness classes to breast cancer survivors through a 12 week pilot program.
Georgeane is a partner and frequent facilitator at Retreat Sorelle's workshops for women. Retreat Sorelle weekends offer a variety of integrative programming that honor women's minds, bodies and spirits.
Georgeane’s enthusiastic style of teaching yoga combines elements of Iyengar, Ashtanga and Anusara yoga. She is passionate about the practice of yoga, believing it brings many gifts including self-growth and self discovery. A strong believer that yoga is for everyone, she is eager to work with both experienced practitioners as well as beginners.
