The majority of all candles sold today are made from paraffin wax. Paraffin is the leftover residue from fuel refining. Paraffin wax emits 11 known toxins while burning - including 2 carcinogens, acetone and benzene. Petrol-Soot, the black smoke that comes from these candles is as harmful as second hand smoke and is damaging to your walls and furnishings.

Although there is a ban in the United States on lead wicks, some foreign manufacturers still continue to use them. According to the Environmental Protection Agency burning lead-core wick candles can push airborne concentrations of lead to unsafe levels.

In the Moment Soy Yoga candles are made from pure, all-natural soybean wax, producing a clean burn and avoiding the damaging, black soot that often comes with traditional paraffin wax candles. In the Moment Yoga candles are custom-made in small batches with wholesome ingredients and are hand-poured to ensure both quality and freshness.

Small candles have an estimated 40-45 hours of burn time and large candles 60-65 hours.

In The Moment Yoga uses pure organic oil of lavender extracted from the lavender plant. This aromatherapy mist is a soothing blend of 100% therapeutic grade essential oil of lavender, pure distilled water, witch hazel and alcohol.

Lavender is especially calming and often used to counter stress and tension as well as curb anxiety and restlessness. Lavender mist can be used anywhere at any time. Spritz your clothes, face and hair. Pack it in your purse or car for ease and comfort during stressful times. To encourage restful sleep, spray lavender mist on your linens and pillows before bed.
