What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a process of relaxing the body so that the imagination may be free and the unconscious may experience suggested thoughts and images easily. It is a means of communication between the conscious and unconscious mind through a heightened state of awareness. Much like guided meditation, the hypnotherapist uses calm and rhythmic language while having a conversation with the unconscious mind. The unconscious mind is then able to sort things out in a positive way. It is important to note that the subject is always in control and can only be hypnotized if he/she wants to be.
